Law Library Kiosks
A Law Library Kiosk is a touch-screen device that provides legal research accessible to all offenders in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions. The kiosks are built to be rugged and durable. They are designed to withstand use in a high security environment and are positioned in restricted movement areas, such as administrative segregation units and desktop computers located in general population libraries. Through the simple use of its digital touch-screen interface, the kiosk provides offenders the access to a large database while simultaneously helping them develop both research and digital literacy skills.
Law Library Kiosks are at all CDCR institutions.
